planning, the UH Legal Plan can help. This voluntary benefit
is provided through Hyatt Legal Plans/MetLaw.
The Legal Plan provides telephone, online and in-office legal
services through a network of professional attorneys. The
plan covers:
- Estate planning documents
- Financial matters
- Real estate matters
- Defense of civil lawsuits
- Family law
- Traffic offenses (excluding DUI)

- Immigration assistance
- Juvenile matters
- Consumer protection
- Document review

Some services have no fees; some involve an extra charge.

You must enroll during benefits open enrollment
in the fall, unless you have a qualified change in status
during the year. |

If you are newly eligible for UH benefits,
you must enroll during benefits enrollment when first
eligible to have coverage during the year. |
If you enroll, you pay for coverage through after-tax payroll
deductions.
